About Us
Advancing STEAM learning for community well-being in rural, remote and Indigenous communities.
Powering equitable access to STEAM education
Science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) power our world, but access to STEAM education, resources, and opportunities is highly inequitable across Canada.
The Pinnguaq Foundation believes that everyone, regardless of location, culture, historical inequities, gender, or language should have the opportunity to actively participate in, and benefit from, all the power that STEAM creates.
We fund innovative, interactive STEAM education opportunities and resources in rural, remote, Northern, and Indigenous communities, with a focus on culturally relevant, co-designed programming. We succeed through long-term relationship-building with our communities, partners and donors.
Our Values
Our values influence and guide us as we generate funding and support organizations like Ampere in creating STEAM education opportunities and resources.
